About families…

An only child 
Plays superhero 
Bringing them close 
Encouraging 
Acceptance
And moving on

The eldest child
Played superhero
Catching bullets
Collecting scars
While gardening
Exquisite roses

There is history 
And painful memories 
Accumulating 
Creating noise
But there is more music
A love that listens

Lives blossomed 
Among adversity 
He brings the mirror 
For a closer look 
Not at the past 
But at today

Smell the love 
It’s all around 
Today is beautiful 
Today is together 
Today is thank you 
Today is healing
